NEWS: Paradox Rift… Caught in a Trap?

Capturing the essence of their live sound, Cleveland Ohio Melodic Death Metal quartet Paradox Rift recorded their new album “Ensnared” by feel, building from the drums, through bass, guitars to vocals with no click track or metronome. If the goal was to deliver something brutal, technical and intentional that crosses borders and boundaries without a second glance at the genre, then on the evidence of single “Grave-Snuggler” alone that has been achieved. The drum fills sound like the drums are falling down the stairs and are quickly followed by fast blast beats and the grinding/ pinching guitar work that equally drives the song. Although the song is short, the amount of brutality that is compacted within it is astonishing to say the least. Don’t be fooled by the fun-natured title, as this song will surprise you with its heaviness”
