Throwback: “Invidious” from Ingested!

They may have only just released their eighth album “The Tide of Death and Fractured Dreams” via Metal Blade Records but when you’ve been of growing concern since 2006 you’re going to have anniversaries to celebrate on random dates. For Mancunian Death Metal purveyors Ingested, it just so happens that the sixth anniversary of 2018’s “A Level Above Human” has come around. Finding themselves signed to Unique Leader Records after a stint with Century Media, the 10 track affair continued to raise the bands profile despite all the odds .Produced by the band, engineered by Stu McKay (Arcania, Dyscarnate) and mixed and mastered by Christian Donaldson (Cryptopsy, Beneath the Massacre), it took them to Mexico as well as giving them the opportunity to headline in the US for the first time… not bad for a band who slam so hard they can wake the dead.
