NEWS: Forlorn embrace the wicker man!

Forging a sound that blends expressionist art, crushing soundscapes and paganism to carve out their own brand of innovative Folk Horror with hints of Black Metal, Post-Hardcore and Post-Metal, Forlorn have long been an enthralling and captivating live band. Turning to producer Sam Bloor (Graphic Nature, Black Coast, Dream State), it seems they have captured that magnetism for a debut album in “Aether” based on the evidence of singles “Spirit” and now “Funeral Pyre“. The question is, are you ready for it? Pre-orders including vinyl for the 28th March via Church Road Records release are available over at bandcamp.

Forlorn share: “Funeral Pyre explores the element of fire and in this sense as a powerful divination tool. We took inspiration from the 1973 film ‘The Wickerman’ and the concept of human sacrifice, in order for things to grow. We invite people to join us as we shed our naysayers and become stronger together.
