NEWS: Quiescent Mantis escape from the swarm?

Produced by Yanic Bercier (Quo Vadis, Gone In April, Summoner’s Circle) at WaveTransform Recording Studio, a second album “Here Comes the Swarm” from Tennessee Metal heads Quiescent Mantis is set to appear on 19th July via Exitus Stratagem Records. A Thrash trio with ideas above their station who have been inspired by old science fiction movies, they have a pair of tracks already streaming in “Shake The Cage” and “Fight” from the record with pre-orders available here.

The band comment: “‘Shake the Cage’ is about civilization finally pushing back and realizing that people on top are using status and fame as a platform to tell us how to act and what we do with our own lives. Civilization is fed up and is starting to point all in one direction and coming together to get answers on why they are shaking the cage. ‘Fight’ is really based on the battle scenes from ‘Starship Troopers’, a battle between bugs and humans.”
