NEWS: Heriot enter the gates of Hell…

A month after they unleashed the first single in “Siege Lord” metal innovators Heriot have announced their highly anticipated debut album “Devoured by the Mouth of Hell“. Set to arrive after the bands European Festival run on 27th September via Century Media, it was  recorded with Josh Middleton (Sylosis, Architects) before being mixed and mastered by Grammy Award-winning Will Putney (Knocked Loose, Fit For An Autopsy, Body Count). Curiously it will not include the single “Soul Chasm” with which the band announced their label signing but will offer up no less than 10 cuts of pure intensity in Metallic Sludge and Hardcore, unholy levels of distortion, speed and gut-punching talent. The band comment: “‘Foul Void’ was one of the last tracks written for our debut album, Devoured by the Mouth of Hell. Sonically influenced by ’90s and early 00’s metalcore, the song delves into the inner struggle of an individual facing uncertainties about their faith”
