NEWS: The Crystal Labyrinth awaits for Struck/Down?

A third single of 2024 and fourth since last year’s EP “To Witches…” has arrived from Kent Groove Metal quintet Struck/Down in “Kingdom Of Glass“. The Bloodstock Open Air Festival New Blood Stage survivors have been announced alongside Regicide and King Kraken for the 10th Anniversary of Breaking Bands Festival in May 2025…

The band comment: “‘Kingdom Of Glass’ is taken from the viewpoint of both an individual and civilization as a whole being at the point of make or break, implode or explode. 

Does the man destroy the city or does the city eat itself alive? Do the actions of an individual cause the butterfly effect? These are the kinds of questions Struck/Down try to interrupt within ‘Kingdom Of Glass’ and it’s lyrical content. 

The song stylistically is an experiment, merging several different soundscapes into one flowing piece of music. Elements of metal layered with funk grooves and catchy hooks reinforce the message above keeping the listener on their toes.
