NEWS: Indevth get post Download Festival sickness?
2024 has already been a year to remember for Southern Metalcore merchants Indevth. EP “Drowning” got the year off to a bang, opening the floodgates to shows with Graphic Nature, Vended, Dropout Kings, SeeYouSpaceCowboy and Hacktivist all across the United Kingdom. As if that wasn’t enough, they made their Download Festival debut and headlined Mortal Metal Festival in Oxfordshire with a brand new single “Sick” paving the way for a run of headline shows as well as a London appearance with US heavyweights Cane Hill.
Talking on their new single vocalist Sam Culverwell shares: “SICK is a track about acceptance, and recognising problems. The last few years I have really struggled with my mental health and there have been times where I have just felt absolutely trapped and consumed by it. and it caused me to be very self destructive to myself and hurt the people I love and in most cases if I had dealt with things better myself a lot of issues could have been avoided easily in retrospect. SICK is really about admitting to myself that I have a problem and nothing will change unless I address issues myself ”
