NEWS: Jewel Throne suffer from insomnia?

The third incarnation of Finnish old school Death Thrash outfit Jewel Throne entered the studio during Easter of 2023 and recorded 17 of 20 tracks they had been working on together, completing the sessions in the early spring of 2024. From those recordings 12 were selected for “Blood Vultures“, the bands debut album after a run of EPs dating back to 2019 with other line ups. That record will be released on 18th October via Inverse Records with a new rendition of “The Graveyard of Dreams” the second single. Pre-orders are available over at bandcamp.

The band comments single: “‘ ’The Graveyard of Dreams’ is one of the two oldest songs on ‘Blood Vultures’. The original version can be found on the last EP (‘Silence Shrouds the Ruins’) by the original Jewel Throne line-up from 2019. It is a personal story about deepening depression. A story about how the total futility of everything crushes a human being under its own weight. Black emptiness of being pushes you deeper into the abyss. Slowly one just stops caring about anything. Eventually one has to accept one’s own fate… and disappear.“
