NEWS: Against I write a new hymn for the dead, dying and the damned!

Picking up where their May 2024 released EP “Destruction Lullaby” left off as if the band never left the studio (hint: they probably didn’t) 29th November will see “Songs for the Dying” arrive on Planet X from Swedish Melodic Death Metal trio Against I. A second single from that burnt offering has premiered in “A Hymn For The End” with the album said to offer lethal doses of aggressive and melodic death tinged with shades of industrial and atmospheric metal. All of that from a trio who feature Fredrik Keith Croona of Cynical Existence and formerly Menschdefekt in their ranks. Pre-orders for the album are available over at bandcamp.

The band comment: “‘A Hymn for the End’ is a celebration of the end of mankind. It is a song for the dead or those soon to be. This track features remnants of the old industrial sound of early AGAINST I and serves as a bridge on the album, where some of the riffs really push it forward as a contrast rounding things up.”
