NEWS: Conjonctive unveil “Misère de Poussière” music video!
For Swiss Groove Death quintet Conjonctive slow and steady wins the race. Having formed in 2007, it took the riff merchants six years to commit 2013 album “Until The Whole World Dies” and then another four to land sophomore album “In The Mouth Of The Devil” in 2017. Seven years and seven deadly sins later, including a year long hiatus and significant line-up changes, try return with “Misère de Poussière” on 22nd November. The album marks the their recording debut with new drummer Guido Wyss, formerly of Near Death Condition with the title track now playing everywhere that’s good.
The band comment: “For us, this single is one of the best songs on the album. Some of you may notice that the first riff is a nod to our first EP back in 2009 when we were playing a mix of groove and nu metal. For this project, we worked with Brice Hincker, who shot most of our previous videos. ‘Poussière’ means ‘dust,’ and the lyrics reflect the idea that we all turn to dust in the end and that everything is forgotten over time. We were allowed to shoot a significant part of this video in a stone pit in the mountains of Switzerland.”
