NEWS: Joviac shine on like crazy diamonds!

After his departure from the band in 2023, Rudy Fabritius is credited as the drummer on a new full length record from Finnish Progressive Metal band Joviac. Set for a 16th May release via Inverse Records the third album from the group is called “Autofiction Pt. 1 – Shards” and was mastered by Teemu Liekkala (Dark The Suns, Crowned With Black, Sons Of Aeon). First single “Shine” is now streaming in music video form with pre-orders for a compact disc version available here.

Vocalist-guitarist Viljami Jupiter Wenttola comments: ”“I wanted to write a catchy and unashamedly hopeful and positive song. There’s plenty of darkness out there, so when I have light and beauty in my heart, I try to let it shine through. Shine is an affirmation. It’s about reminding yourself that no matter what life throws at you, you have what it takes to make it through. Nothing is out of reach and above all, you had everything you needed inside of you all along. We all need help and support, but in the end they’re there to amplify and show you the light that was within you from the start. Like the lyrics state: “fix your gaze on any goal, the key is just do as you do.”
