NEWS: Dimman escape violence and vengeance?

A fourth and final preview of the new album “Consciousness” from Finnish Melodic Death metal band Dimman has arrived in lyric video form. Titled “Cease The Vengeance” it’s another reason to check it out when it arrives on 28th February via Inverse Records as the follow up to 2021’s critically acclaimed “Songs and Tales of Grievance“.

Guitarist and songwriter Jaakko Yli-Sorvari comments: “Cease the Vengeance is the most romantic song on the album, almost a mid-tempo waltz by Dimman’s standards. The song serves as a crucial part of the album both musically and lyrically. Its musical roots revolve around traditional melodic death metal and doom, complementing the extensive expression of previous singles. Thematically, ‘Cease the Vengeance’ tells how difficulties can be overcome, even if one has to momentarily crawl through the depths.”
