NEWS: Alukta announce “Merok”, a portrait in Doom Fuelled Black Metal!

French Doom Ritual Black Metal band Alukta have agreed to 2nd May as the International release date for their debut full-length album “Merok” to be released via Transcendance. The concept for the album is said to be inspired by the Toraja people and their quite special funeral rites, and by cults and death in general, the band forming in 2023 out of a mourning period mixed with a need of exploring old tribal customs. After a fully black metal experience, vocalist Marie felt like trying a more doom approach of music, and the urge of using clean vocals to express her deepest primitive feelings.
