NEWS: Horrid Human Condition premier “Abused By Life”!

Somewhere over the rainbow between the Worlds of Heavy Metal, Grindcore and Crust Punk is where you’ll find Italians Horrid Human Condition. They have inked a dead, in blood, with Time To Kill Records for their next album “Perpetual Imbalance” to be released on 18th April. Recorded in Slap Studio, Castellana Grotte in December 2023 it showcases influences as far apart as the 1980s Italian Hardcore to the more modern American Grindcore scene. The lyrics convey the strong dread that every person feels when they realize that the world they live in is not made for them, but for the conservation of power of the small ruling minority. Pre-orders are available over at bandcamp.

The band comment: ““Abused by Life” was the first song written by the band, just as they formed in the summer of 2022. It conveys all the influences spread throughout the album, from neocrust to “classical” crust punk and, to some extent, black metal.

The song deals with the theme of exploitation of man in the work environment. In an increasingly frenetic and cynical society, the one who pays the consequences is the “worker”, forced to give up their rights in order to survive, having to spend part of their existence in a state of alienation.

The lyrics are inspired by two important cinematographic works: “Metropolis” by Fritz Lang and “La classe operaia va in paradiso” by Elio Petri.
