NEWS: Messiah Paratroops suffer painful insomnia!
Founded in 1989 Finnish old school death metal band Messiah Paratroops enjoyed an initial run that lasted until 1996 in which they released a wealth of demos and EPs. They reformed in 2015 and a decade on and now with a new line up adding members known for their work in Sanity Scale, Skull Altar and Coldscape they have announced a debut album “Legions of Tomorrow” 36 years in the making for a 4th April release via Inverse Records. The first single “Painful Sleep” is now steaming.
Vocalist Aku Oksala comments: ” “Painful Sleep” comes from our first official demo, Extreme Pain (1991), and represents the most classic form of Messiah Paratroops. It hails from the time our band was named the best Finnish death/thrash metal band that have never released an album. Thirty-four years after Extreme Pain, it’s the perfect time to release a debut album filled with furious vocals, aggressive guitars, and double bass drums!”
