NEWS: Rivers of Nihil escape the house on the hill?
Featuring Patrick Corona on Alto Saxophone and Grant McFarland on Cello, “House Of Light” has emerged as the first single of a new album from Reading, Pennsylvania Progressive Metal act Rivers of Nihil. A music video for the track directed by David Brodsky for My Good Eye: Music Visuals is all over internet land, starring Aidan Lally and Emeline O’Hara. According to label home Metal Blade Records it will be a self titled affair running to 10 fresh cuts with the release not taking place until 30th May. Pre-orders are of course available here.
Guitarist Brody Uttley comments: ““House Of Light” is a track that encapsulates the nature of what it is that we do perfectly while offering a different perspective on the sound with the new line-up. Everything that our fans have come to love about our sound is demonstrated in this song with the new addition of Andy singing and Biggs on main vocals. It has the riffs, it has the big chorus, it has the prog, it has the solos, it has the sax. Just a real classic example of what we do as a band in 2025”
