NEWS: Horrid Human Condition carry the burden!
Taking a simple approach, Italian Crust Punk meets Grindcore squad Horrid Human Condition wrote their debut album “Perpetual Imbalance” with each member bringing every component they had written individually to the practice room to be played and reviewed together. That process exposed influences from ’80s Italian Hardcore to the more modern American Grindcore scene with lyrics conveying the strong dread that every person feels when they realize that the world they live in is not made for them, but for the conservation of power of the small ruling minority. A music video for “Heavy Burden” is now streaming, pre-orders for the 18th April via Time To Kill Records release are available over at bandcamp
The band commented: “‘Heavy Burden’ is one of our latest tracks and stylistically highlights our main influences: crust punk in a more aggressive form, bordering on grindcore. The song deals with humanity’s ongoing struggle against injustice and abuse of power, forced to live daily amidst fear and uncertainty, increasingly caught in a relentless fight for survival. Living a dignified life, which should be a right for everyone, has become a privilege for the few. The music video was filmed at the Caserma Liberata in Bari, a place known for its social inclusivity and a key symbol of the underground scene in which the band thrives”.
