NEWS: Threads are pulled as the Octopus rises!

Originally conceived as the solo project of guitarist and composer Angelos Tzamtzis in 2019, Threads quickly evolved into a full-fledged five-piece band after his move to Berlin. Drawing inspiration from Post and Progressive Metal realms the outfit blur the lines between their influences in the sonic abrasions of Gojira, Tool and Alcest with their 2021 debut EP “Akasha“. After a European tour a year later they began working on their debut album “Impermanence” and now are thrilled to announce their signing with Argonauta Records imprint label Octopus Rising for its release. While the date remains undisclosed, the band have previously shared a trio of songs believed to be from it, including “Einstein-Rosen Bridge“.

Angelos Tzamtzis comments: “We are beyond excited to be joining forces with Octopus Rising and Argonauta Records. This partnership will allow us to reach new audiences and push our creative vision even further. Impermanence represents a significant milestone for us, and we can’t wait to share it with the world.”
