NEWS: Cytolysis consent to nothing!
Idle hands are the devil’s workshop so with that in mind drummer Darren Cesca, a man known for his work with the likes of Deeds Of Flesh, Goratory and Eschaton has been working quietly away on a solo project called Cytolysis. 2020 saw debut album “Portraits Of Malevolence” crawl out from the darkness and so a follow up is long overdue. That is titled “Surge Of Cruelty” and is set for an 8th August release date via Comatose Music, wrapped in discomforting artwork created by Vladimir Cebakov (Six Feet Under, 1914, DeadHead). Mixed and mastered by Cesca himself after previous experience with the likes of Hideous Deformity, In Asymmetry and Serpent of Gnosis the album also features a succession of brutal guest vocalists, with Mac Smith (Eschaton), Brian Forgue (Syphilic), Adam Mason (Goratory) and Flo Butcher (Tortured) all joining the party. “Consenting Brood” is the first single.
