NEWS: Erebor climb the dark tower!

Durham Progressive Technical Death Metal mercenaries Erebor have shared “The Tower” from their 4th July arrival “Infinitus Somnium“. The concept album follows 2021’s “Inherent Malevolence” however, as the five piece go on to explain, the original idea goes back almost eight years. Pre-orders are available over at bandcamp.

The band comment: “Back in 2017, around the release of our single ‘The Stillness of Unending Sleep’, we were given a challenge. This challenge being to write a song based on the phrase ‘captured moments in a jar of infinite dreams’.

Our new full-length record, Infinitus Somnium, is the result of this undertaking.

Clocking in at 43 minutes, the three songs that comprise this album detail the path to the divine, and easily stand as the most progressive, melodic, and dynamic in our catalogue. A huge amount of effort was put into every note, every chord progression, every drum fill, and every lyric. We couldn’t be more proud of the final result.”
