Mixed and mastered by Christian Donaldson (Cryptopsy, The Agonist) Hungarian Death Metal brutes Monastery, release a brutal new single with a captivating lyric video titled “Chase the Heretics” via Art Gates Records. It’s their third seemingly stand alone cut since their 2023 album “From Blood” leaving us to wonder how long it will be before a new album rears it’s ugly head.

The band comment: “Monastery’s message explores the human mind, mental confusion, and wickedness in general, combining the horrors of history. The “Chase the Heretic” song focuses on one of the greatest human crimes of the Dark Age: the Inquisition. This is also reflected in the visual world of the video, displaying the effects of religious fanaticism on the spiritual world of people.”
