NEWS: Shadows sin and sin again?

A portrait in Extreme Metal, Shadows debut album “Miseria“, a record described as “nine songs of unrelenting misanthropy” will be everywhere that’s good on 29th August. The project has existed in various forms since 2021 but with the album reaching previously unimaginable new heights as it was taking shape, members of Visceral Bleeding, The Berzerker, Enshrined and Ominous have been added to the ranks. A third single extracted from it in “Delivered From Sin” featuring a guest guitar solo from Andreas Hedberg has surfaced for your listening pleasure.

The band comment: “Miseria aims to explore the vast uncaring nothingness and explore the dread of our futile existence. If you are looking for release or redemption you won’t find them here.

The album is unmistakably rooted in the Scandinavian black and death metal but delivers it with its own signature. It is crushing and suffocating but also melodic and solemn.”
