NEWS: Themata strike two with “Colossus”!

A seven year gestational period has meant that while Themata were formed in 2018 they only made their presence known in 2025. Including in their ranks both current and former members of bands like Atlases, Dö, Grave With A View, I Cursed, Marto, Masteroid, Oceanwake and even Omnium Gatherum is probably a reason for that but describing themselves as being an abrasive, terminal and vile sludge band from the outmost corners of Finland doesn’t help either. They have a dark, heavy and desolate debut EP called “Riven” set for a 24th September climb from the tar pit via Meara Music and from that “Colossus” is the second single.
