NEWS: Crooked Royals shatter glass with 3DOT Recordings!
If anyone expected that the 3DOT Recordings label owned by Progressive Metal pioneering DJentlemen Periphery was simply going to be for their own musical endeavours like Haunted Shores, Bulb and King Mothership then the band have plenty of other ideas. Alongside initial signings Destrage, Astronoid and Infinity Shred they have announced the signing of Auckland New Zealand based Crooked Royals. Recorded and mixed by Zorran Mendonsa (Coridian) and mastered by George Lever (Sleep Token, Loathe, Thornhill) the label will handle the bands forthcoming debut album “Quarter Life Daydream” which is set to drop on 21st October with the first taste “Glass Hands” out now…
Clean vocalist Christian Carstensen : “The song is about a person who wants to believe in something so hard that they’ll do anything for it, we want listeners to be critical of this voice though.”
Raw vocal counterpart Lee Mackley adds: “It’s similar to when people get news from a headline on social media, they’ll spout the headline, but they don’t read the actual article. They just believe in it without understanding it”.
