NEWS: Chairmaker know someone “Loud, Confident and Wrong”…

There is nothing quite like the smell of pure, visceral, unrelenting Grindcore in the morning. It’s like the fresh countryside air that smells like cow dung, the toxic fumes that hang over industrial heartlands or the acid rain clouds over forests. The brainchild of former Chronocide multi-instrumentalist Neil Erskine, Chairmaker are about to unleash hell with debut album “‘Leviathan Carcass” on 14th November. A third single in advance of that has been shared in “Loud, Confident and Wrong“, a cut built on the frustrations of reactionism and the lack of critical thinking that occupies the online political landscape. Grindcore has always been the outlet for politics within extreme music, choosing to steer away from fictional horrors and focus instead on the ones that are an everyday reality for some. Pre-orders are of course available over at bandcamp.

The band comment: Another track indebted to crusty Nordic d-beat and grind. Loud, Confident and Wrong takes aim at the swaggering idiots of the misinformation age. An ode to the self-assuredly clueless — the meme-schooled “researchers” who sneer at experts while parroting half-digested conspiracy sludge and crypto-sage nonsense. A search for a relief valve amid the frustration of watching blustering mediocrity outshout competence and intellectual brick walls wishing themselves into philosophers”
