NEWS: Deadwood have a tale or two to tell…

Having toured Japan with Humanity’s Last Breath, opened twice for Born of Osiris in Montréal and decimated the weak at Inkcarceration Festival 2025, it seems Deadwood are living up to their stated desire to “Make Deathcore Angry Again“. Known for their heavy music and dark lyrics, the band aim to evoke terror and fear through their music, ensuring their performances are unforgettable with pure brutality and violence the name of the game.

Their line-up unites seasoned veterans: guitarist Fred Element (ex-The Plasmarifle, ex-Ion Dissonance), guitarist Stephane Filion (ex-Nova Spei, Iron Maiden tribute), drummer Charles Etienne Lafrance (ex-Dismayd, Discovrey Through Tourment), and vocalist Derek Heynekemp, reuniting with Fred after a decade since their days in Malaga. Vocals on their EP “Rituals of a Dying Light” were contributed by Martin Demontigny, the record set for a 6th January release via Innerstrength Records. Ahead of that “Tales of Massacre” is the second single.
