NEWS: Deficit aren’t so much about lifestyle and more about Deathstyle?

Rejecting polished, overproduced modernity in favour of authenticity with new EP “Deathstyle” Sydney Australians Deficit are poised to dive even deeper into the darker edges of their music, embracing the rage that lies at their core as they draw influence from the poison well of 90’s Metal, Hardcore and Nu-Metal. Featuring guest appearances from members of Life Cycles and Unity TX, the EP drops on 21st November with the title track now spinning.

The band comment: “Deathstyle is not only the title of the track, it’s the very embodiment of Deficit’s sound. “Death” refers to our roots in Metal, Hardcore, Death Metal, and Deathcore, while “Style” captures the groove, catchiness, and swagger that define our identity. It’s the definition of Deficit’s own unique genre.”
