NEWS: Headwreck adjust their attitude?

After being announced as playing Life’s A Beach Festival hosted by Polaris and featuring We Came As Romans, Thy Art Is Murder and Caskets to name but a few, Brisbane Nu-Metal provocateurs Headwreck have shared a music video for new single “Bingo!“. As it transpires, all of their recently released singles, produced, mixed and mastered by Chris Lalic (Windwaker, RinRin) will be pooled onto a new EP dubbed “Attitude Adjustment” that will see release on PS2 and vinyl formats on 31st October. A new collection that drops the ‘tough guy’ act and sees them embrace their most genuine and goofy selves both sonically and visually, enjoying the music they make and the bonds they’ve created.

Guitarist Jamo Benadie describes the track as a perfect showcase of the band’s identity, saying that “BINGO! is a track that gives the listener a little bit of everything Headwreck has to offer. Each member played a part in bringing this song to life, and we had a lot of fun making it. We hope that listening to this song will be a fun experience for our audience as well.”

Drummer Colby Horton adds: “The chorus lyrics are all very much about nostalgia and having fun. Realizing nowadays we can still have fun and it’s time to ‘change the frequency’. BINGO! lyrically came pretty naturally in our second writing session with Chris Lalic. This was the moment we decided to lean fully into that feeling of fun and being ‘ourselves’.”
