NEWS: Humming Whale share “The Wake”!

Tampere, Finland based Progressive Metal band Humming Whale have released a second single in “The Wake” from their upcoming debut studio album “Chasing Rabbits”. A 21st November 2025 release via Inverse Records, it features backing vocals and keyboards from Jussi Kulomaa (Vansidian, Existence Depraved, Black Royal) who also mixed. Pre-orders are available over at bandcamp

Guitarist Lassi describes the song: “You are standing alone in a dark forest. The shadows cast by the trees move slowly around you. The battery of your flashlight is slowly running out. Your instinct says “Run!”. In writing The Wake we were inspired by the captivating stories and the unique atmosphere in the world of Alan Wake.”
