NEWS: Hidden Mothers get reimagined by 601!

Friday 21st November at Yellow Arch in Sheffield will find Post-Metal act Hidden Mothers playing a home town show with Din Of Celestial Birds, Pleiades and Baosbeinn in support. Legendary Leeds breakbeat duo 601 will be providing DJ sets between bands, themselves having a new album littered with collaborations throughout on the horizon. In celebration of that Church Road Records have shared a remix of “Defanged” by 601 which elevates the Hidden Mothers classic to a new realm of existence…

The band comment: “SURPRISE!!! Leeds breakbeat duo 601 have put together a killer remix of our song ‘Defanged’, which was the lead single for ‘Erosion / Avulsion’. As we bring this era of the band to a close and enter a period of writing-heavy hibernation, we thought it would be fun to collaborate with some friends on something that’s extremely outside our usual comfort zone. We cannot thank George and Nat enough for the stellar work they’ve done here, putting a truly unique spin on one of our heaviest songs.

In addition, we are thrilled to announce that 601 will be in charge of the between-bands music at our forthcoming Sheffield headline show. This will be our last live outing for some time, so grab a ticket and let’s make it a night to remember”
