NEWS: Pincer+ smash another mirror?

Digging into themes of isolation, guilt, anger and that space between feeling everything and feeling nothing, the upcoming album “Who Are You When No One’s Around” from Perth Australian Hardcore outfit Pincer+ is about what’s left when the noise stops and you’re stuck with yourself. That will be with us on 12th December via a partnership between Greyscale Records and 1126 Records and so the band have offered up scorching new single “Yours To Erase” as another glimpse.

The band comment on the single: “…the push and pull between people, the confusion, and the way things can spiral out of control through tension and misunderstandings. It’s about the quiet moments that reveal the truth, and the point where everything finally clicks into place. The song shows how small actions and choices can build on each other, shifting the balance until nothing feels certain.”

and on the album: “It’s about losing control, pulling yourself apart, and trying to figure out who you are. We found the title felt like a way to tie it all together – it’s a question for us as much as anyone else, about facing the parts of yourself that only show up when no one’s watching.”
