NEWS: Rats Eat Rats share “Obnoxious”!

Before they play the Moshville Radio sponsored Riff Around The Xmas Tree show at The Jericho Tavern in Oxford on 13th December with Scubus, Stone Soup and The Blade Itself, Pandora’s box has been opened by Alternative Metal act Rats Eat Rats. The four piece have dug into their archives and recreated one of their first cryptic writings in order to make it fit for human consumption. It’s one they like to call “Obnoxious” and its their first since the September release of their debut EP “For When We All Turn Feral“, offering a glimpse of what you can expect in 2026. The question is, are you ready?

The band comment: ”Our newest track “Obnoxious” was born in the early days of Rats Eat Rats. We’ve torn it apart and rebuilt it into it’s most powerful and energetic form yet. The song hits with a raw, unfiltered intensity that captures the chaos and adrenaline that shaped us from the start. In true DIY fashion, the guitars, bass and vocals were all recorded by us in local studios. The track was mixed by a separate engineer at Ranch Studios, Southampton. ”Obnoxious” is a real Frankenstein’s Monster. One who rocks a battle jacket and skulls cans of beer, cracking every empty can on it’s perfectly equipped forehead.”
