NEWS: Stalwart open Pandora’s box…
Italian label WormHoleDeath Records have announced the signing of Progressive Death Thrash outfit Stalwart while confirming that they will be distributing the bands seventh album on 23rd January. Titled “Tempvs Edax Rervm” (or “Time, the Devourer of All Things”) the album reflects on how everything fades with time: vices die with their hosts, people hide behind new masks as they decay within, and even the old gods have grown powerless to change what’s coming. Heaven and earth have switched places – and the end might already be near. Sonically after working with the Wiesławski brothers (Vader, Decapitated, Behemoth, Hate) at Hertz Studio on four of their previous albums the band have achieved a crisp and punishing sound with this record being described as a distilled, heavier, darker and more focused. In evidence of that the band have shared a lyric video for first single “Pandora“.
The band comment: “It’s hard to believe in this day and age, but good news still happens sometimes — well, at least for us. We’re thrilled to announce that Stalwart has officially signed with WormHoleDeath Records for the release of our new album, Tempvs Edax Rervm, coming in early 2026. After a long break and years spent living across different parts of the world, this record marks a new chapter for us — one that connects everything we’ve built over the past two decades with the drive and perspective we have today”.
