Bootleg: “Unholan tuntemattomat” from Karelian Warcry!
Back in August Finnish Blackened Death Metal warriors Karelian Warcry announced to the world that they had completed their third studio album “Veripellot” (or “Fields of Blood“) after more than a decade of trials and tribulations. In 2014, the band went on hiatus following the passing of vocalist and guitarist Matti Mikkonen, however they never ceased to exist, fighting one battle after another from legal obstacles to corrupt DAW files in order to finish the record. It will now see the cold light of day this spring via Inverse Records with a first single set to appear in the next few days.
In the meantime time the band have shared a live performance of their song “Unholan tuntemattomat” (or “The Unknowns of Unhola“). It was filmed at Kerubi, Joensuu on 13th September at a show which saw them joined by Barathrum and Mätäsielu.
