NEWS: Karelian Warcry look to the skies!

A study of war, grief, and the dark sides of humanity that rises from the band members’ personal experiences, collective traumas and a shared interest in the events of their home region and its war history, “Veripellot” (or “Fields Of Blood”) will be the third album from Karelian Warcry. A memorial writing for fallen friends as well as a glimpse into the horrors of the Finnish Civil War, it is a portrait in Blackened Death Metal that was almost lost following the tragic death of the band’s founding member, vocalist-guitarist M.I. Mikkonen. Ahead of a 6th March arrival via Inverse Records the band have shared “Horisontit” (or “Horizons“) cut from it.
