NEWS: Lago prepare the cannons!

After eight long years of radio silence, the long awaited and highly anticipated follow up to 2018’s “Sea of Duress” from Phoenix Arizona’s Lago is finally on the horizon. A record with themes rooted in isolation and oppression that continues to refine a bleak, forceful brand of dissonant American Death Metal, “Vigil” will arrive on 8th May via Everlasting Spew Records. The first glimpse of that is “Fodder” with pre-orders available over at bandcamp.

The band comment: “The writing for ‘Vigil’ began in 2023 and found the band rebuilt after a few years of relative silence and this also marks the first time we as a band have completely handled all aspects of the production ourselves. Expect the next step as we build upon our previous releases, calling upon influences from legends Morbid Angel, Immolation and Gorguts. ‘Vigil’ will be our most focused release to date!”
