NEWS: Resumption admit Some Things Are Too Broken…
Dedicated to his late father, who hated Metal music but nevertheless always supported his son’s musical efforts, a Death Doom album titled “The Respite” is on the way from Resumption. The project is a solo one from Wilhelm Lindh (The Gardnerz, Tristitia, Pandemonium, Allamedah), a Swedish musician who has been living in Portugal for many years. Citing influences in Bolt Thrower, Funeral and Pyrexia while tackling the harrowing realities of mental health and anti-religious sentiment, the album will be out on 17th April with “Some Things Are Too Broken” the second single…
Mastermind Wilhelm Lindh: “The second single is a definitive statement on the necessity of walking away. It explores the moment you realize certain situations or people are simply beyond repair and outside of your control. Ultimately, it’s a song about releasing the burden of trying to fix the ‘unfixable’ and finally choosing to prioritize your own emotional well-being.”
