NEWS: OLTAS become soothsayers?

Featuring guest vocals by Rachel Westerveld, Dutch Doom Death Metal collective OLTAS have unveiled their first single since signing with Octopus Rising and Argonauta Records. Confronting the many threats facing humanity in contemporary times while remaining true to the band’s artistic philosophy, “World Killer” avoids offering simple answers, leaving space for personal interpretation and individual reflection.

The band comments: “World Killer is our first release working together with Gero and Argonauta Records. This track stands for a new era of OLTAS. It is also the first single leading up to more singles and ultimately our first full length album, to be released by in 2027. Yes, we take our time, but it will be worth the wait. Lyrically, World Killer stands for all kinds of threats humanity faces in our time. But as always there is room for your own interpretation as well. The artwork was once again created by our dear friend and talented artist Arjen Kunnen, known for his work with Amenra and many others.
