NEWS: Sarcoma love starting fires?

Ecuador Extreme Metal powerhouse Sarcoma  continue to cut a path through the urban jungle with “En Llamas” (or “in flames“) as they celebrate twenty years as a band. Formed as a Spanish speaking Deathcore collective in 2006, their debut EP “Silenciosa Tortura” set them on their path. The new cut is a demonstration of just how far they have evolved their sound while still being as brutal and ferocious as ever.

The band comment: “From its inception, when there were just a couple of riffs, we immediately got the feeling that this one was meant to be about violence and perfect for frantic moshpits. Lyrics refer to exhaustion, laceration and the burning sensation of a deadly circle pit.

It’s all about avoiding being crushed by this deadly vortex while the band keeps feeding it with a fiery beat.

The same overlaying theme of proving oneself is also subtly present, this time in the live show scenario.”
