Emerging from the apocalyptic wastelands of Tasmania Technical Death Metal monsters The Absolution Sequence are preparing to give us hell on 14th August via Blood Blast Distribution with their new album “Dread Cycle“. The culmination of time spent on the road with everyone from Nile to Psycroptic, the record was produced by Chris Themelco (Escarion, Naugrim, Flaming Wrekage) at Monolith Studio and mastered by the Jens Bogren (Sepultura, At The Gates) at Fascination Street Studios. “The Nightlight Sigil” is the third single struck from it.b

Vocalist Shawn Wells: “The Nightlight Sigil is a tale of family trauma, toxic home environments and the way in which one is treated in the aftermath. Often those who have suffered the most where they are meant to feel protected are shamed and forgotten. The aim of this is to keep the conversation alive, and begin to heal these deep wounds.”
