NEWS: Abstracted sing the sirens song!

Returning to their album “Hiraeth” which crosses borders and boundaries between Progressive, Djent and Death Metal, Brazilian outfit Abstracted have shared a music video for “Sirens“. It’s a timely reminder of just how just how good the album is from a São Paulo-based band who have have collaborated in their career with Chaney Crabb (Entheos), Michael Stancel (Allegaeon), Greg Burgess (Allegaeon), and Mike Semesky (Intervals, The HAARP Machine), as well as shared the stage with Between the Buried and Me.

“The song explores the universal feeling of grief and the process of loss, allowing each listener to find their own meaning in it. The lyrics were written by our drummer, Fernando, capturing his deeply personal emotions after losing his brother some years ago in a tragic accident on a highway. To visually match this somber theme, the music video was filmed inside the ruins of the historic “Casa da Frontaria Azulejada” in Santos (coastal region of São Paulo). Because the interior is heavily degraded, we had to perform with extreme care, as loud frequencies could literally cause parts of the structure to collapse. This fragile and intense atmosphere perfectly translates the weight of the song onto the screen.”
