Documentary: Nervosa look back on 2025!
Brazilian Death Thrash quartet Nervosa have shared a behind the scenes featurette documenting their 2025 as they celebrate fifteen years of the band with guitarist and vocalist Prika Amaral being the last one standing from the original line up. Next year will see them continuing to wage war upon our ear drums with a new album.
The band comment: “2025 is one of the most important years for Nervosa.
January and February – We started the year with a big show in São Paulo, Nervosa’s hometown. This show was part of our South American tour, with shows in Brazil, Argentina, and Chile.
March – Right after that, we toured in France as part of the Warm-Up of Hellfest Tour alongside Novelists. It was a great experience.
April – With no break, we jumped straight into our Asia and Pacific tour. The first show was in Dubai, followed by China, Australia, and Japan. Amazing experiences and unforgettable memories.
May – We built a studio and recorded our new album with Michaela (the drummer who recorded the previous album as well). We are very excited about this!
June – We played some festivals and joined the first part of the tour with Cradle of Filth.
July – The second part of the tour with Cradle of Filth, which was a brilliant tour.
August – More festivals and also playing some shows again with Michaela on drums.
September – Working behind the scenes on the new album.
October – A dream tour with Testament, Obituary, Destruction, and Nervosa. Unforgettable moments and experiences.
November – We played a big festival in Ecuador. Quitofest was awesome!
December – The last show of the “Celebrating 15 Years of Nervosa” tour, which took place in São Paulo once again. It was very special because we played a setlist featuring all five albums in chronological order.
2025 is one of the most important years for Nervosa because we played in places we had never been to before, signed with the major management team FM Music Management, and started working with the top booking agency K2, which works with bands like Iron Maiden, Gojira, Anthrax, and many more.
A new year is coming with a new album — stay tuned in January for more news!”
