NEWS: Funebrarum announce “Beckoning the Void of Eternal Silence”!
After seven long years in the wilderness, New Jersey Death Metal stalwarts Funebrarum have announced their return with a third album “Beckoning the Void of Eternal Silence” set for a 29th May via Pulverised Records arrival. Recorded at Elektric City Recording by Charles Koryn (Ascended Dead, Coffin Rot) with additional recording and mixing duties by Stephen DeAcutis (Ripping Corpse, Evoken, Disma) at Sound Spa Studios before mastering and artwork by Daryl Kahan (Stormwrath, Convergence from Within) at Winterdark, the promise is huge. Especially when you hear first single “Anhela Odor Mortuorum (The Adepts)“.
The band comment: “‘Anhela Odor Mortuorum (The Adepts)’ is a track we completed while on tour in Mexico several years ago. The song was written, mostly, by our bassist, Winslow. It is a great track that we enjoy playing live. It outlines the ancient journey of an occultist deep in connection to and in contemplation of, the shadowed mysteries.”
“We, Funebrarum are stoked to be sharing our third offering, ‘Beckoning the Void of Eternal Silence’ with the world. We are proud of the work overall and the final result. We look forward to desecrating stages worldwide with the new material.”
