NEWS: Funebrarum: once buried, twice shy?

If you missed the memo that was “Anhela Odor Mortuorum (The Adepts)” then let us remind you once more; New Jersey Death Metal act Funebrarum are back in town. A decade after EP “Exhumation of the Ancient” saw the cold light of day on 29th May their third album “Beckoning the Void of Eternal Silence” will arrive via Pulverised Records with “From Rotting Burial Shrouds” the second single. Funebrarum will mark their return to the stage at Killtown Deathfest in Copenhagen in September 2026, followed by additional yet to be announced European touring.

The band comment: “a faster, mid tempo track that includes all the elements of early Funebrarum ie: grinding blasts, mid tempo thrash, slow passages of doom – all with the audial essence of impure evil. The lyrics describe the awakening of the ancient arising from subterranean tombs to reclaim the world.  The arrival… of the legions of putrefaction.. Allegory left for the listener to discern. A mayhemic headbanging slaughter!!.”
