NEWS: Opensight muse on a concept…

After the success that was “Mondo Fiction” the return of Opensight with new album “The Outfit” on 15th May via Season Of Mist is an intriguing one. The band have shared a music video for “Killer Outfit” cut from it, a compendium of recovered footage, reports, forgotten films and other documents, assembled in an attempt to shed light on The Director’s Cult as a worldwide shadow syndicate, on The Director as its figurehead across the eras, and on The Outfit as one of the highest spheres within its ranks.

The band comment: “The song Killer Outfit throws caution to the wind about a powerful presence — magnetic and maybe even dangerous — and touches upon what makes someone stand out in a world that expects everyone to blend in. It’s that revelatory moment of seeing things clearly and embracing one’s true self, when innocence fades and there’s no turning back.”
