NEWS: Extinction A.D. find their mojo?

A fourth single since their signing with M-Theory Audio has appeared from Crossover Thrash powerhouse Extinction A.D. in “Center of Zero“. It finds the Long Island New Yorkers summoning inspiration from 90’s heavy hitters like Sepultura, Vision of Disorder and Machine Head for their Metallic crunch and aggression with New York hardcore-style gang vocals and stomp-heavy breakdowns.

Vocalist and guitarist Rick Jimenez: “I spent some time reflecting on what I learned growing up in music, and not just the ideals that shaped me and the band but the friendships and bonds that were created through the metal and hardcore scenes. That also brings about the thoughts of who and what to avoid when creating something as pure as music should be. Usually XAD is exploring the negatives and how to survive through them but this was a reflection on how friendship through music has enriched my life.
