NEWS: Angel Rising seek immortality?

It seems the work of Progressive Death machine Angel Rising is never done as a new single in “Immortalizer” has emerged along with artwork by Terror Artwork and a video by Andrea Mantell. It follows the arrival of the projects fourth album “The Fall of Tell Nefareh” in compact disc format via Music-Records, a record which features guest vocals from Rob Lundgren and some additional guitars from Elvis Ukmar.

The band comment: “Immortalizer gradually establishes an atmosphere of suffocating darkness. The slow, dissonant passages offer fleeting respite in a track where the heaviness of the riffs drags the listener into the abyss of death metal. The guttural, deep vocals of the verses, with their complex time signatures, accentuate this feeling of oppression, conveying a cryptic message that contrasts sharply with the primal brutality of the choruses. Immortalizer is a journey from which one does not emerge unscathed.”
