NEWS: Trenchwar fire warning shots!

Both current and former members of influential acts such as Backfire, Born From Pain, Cliteater, Herder, No Turning Back, Reaching Forward and Modern Life Is War have been spending a fair amount of time together recently. They’ve started a new project called Trenchwar and have inked a deal with Time To Kill Records for the release of album “Overlords Of Cold” via the label on 18th September. The albums title track has arrived in music video form offering a glimpse at the prospect of monolithic riffs and a sense of impending collapse…

The band comment: “‘Overlords of Cold’ is the towering title track from our debut full-length, combining suffocating sludge weight with the violent urgency of metallic hardcore. Throughout the song, we move between crushing grooves and relentless aggression to create an apocalyptic vision of ancient, godlike forces spreading corruption and destruction. Dark, oppressive and uncompromising, the song perfectly embodies the bleak atmosphere of the album while representing the heaviest and most commanding side of Trenchwar“.
