A concept album “Neraspeme” by Italian Progressive Death Metal act Fate Unburied is said to trace the full emotional cycle of a relationship approaching its end. It is written that the songs unfold like chapters of an inner collapse, moving from blinding anger to disoriented madness, and finally to the album’s title concept: a warped, dark form of hope that offers no redemption and ultimately dissolves like a mirage. Sonically each song is designed to unsettle, surprise, and relentlessly pull the listener forward, never allowing a moment of rest. The latest example of that is “Expect Nothing” with the album due on 16th October via Time To Kill Records.

The band comments: “‘Expect Nothing’ explores the darker side of hope, where something still lingers even when there is almost nothing left to hold onto.

The track sits in the space between letting go and holding on, questioning what remains when expectations slowly disappear and the future no longer seems to have a different outcome.

There is a quiet tension in holding on to something that may already be gone, caught between the feeling that it could still change and the realization that nothing is left to expect.”
