NEWS: Ulthima hear Midnight’s Call!

Having originated back in 2010 in Monterrey Mexico before being reborn in 2018 in Helsinki Finland, Melodic Death Metal ambassadors Ulthima are now preparing to witness their sophomore album “Midnight’s Call” appear via Inverse Records on 27th November. In celebration of that they’ve shared a music video for the title track which just so happens to be the third single from it. Pre-orders are available over at bandcamp.

Guitarist Ricardo Escobar:“‘Midnight’s call’ is the last song composed for this album and as soon as it was finished we knew we had our main single for this second album. The song exemplifies perfectly the sound of the band with heavy but melodic intros, hard hitting verses and catchy choruses to create a good balance between the heavy and melodic sounds that characterize melodeath.

Lyrics wise the song is written as a metaphor for us about how we achieve success, power, fame and what are we willing to sacrifice for it, whether is losing our principles or even morals to get where we want to be or who we want to become. It is about getting lost just to achieve something but also to wonder if it is worth to loose yourself or not.“
